1. Preamble
QSMART LLC provides a standalone media player application, STB+, which allows users to play their own personal or licensed media streams on smart televisions, set-top boxes, phones and tablets.
STB+ does not include, host, distribute or promote any media content. The application ships empty. You supply your own Stalker portal, Xtream Codes credentials or M3U playlist, obtained from a provider you already have a relationship with. Users are fully responsible for the content they load into the application and for holding the necessary rights to access it.
These terms are issued by QSMART LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, registered at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, referred to below as "QSMART", "we" or "us".
2. Our official website
qsmart-player.net is the only website we operate. It is the sole official source for the STB+ application, for licences, and for playlist management. We run no other site, shop, portal or reseller page of any kind.
Any other website that uses the STB+ or QSmart name, copies the appearance of our website, reproduces our logo or screenshots, or presents itself as us, is not connected to QSMART LLC in any way. We do not authorise, endorse, supply, support or receive payment from any such site.
This applies in particular to sites that:
- Sell content, channels, subscriptions or playlists under our name. We have never sold content and never will.
- Offer STB+ licences, activation codes or "unlocks" from any address other than qsmart-player.net.
- Bundle our application with an IPTV subscription or a streaming service.
- Copy our design, wording or screenshots to appear official.
- Ask you to pay through channels we do not use, or request your portal or provider credentials.
Payments made to any of these sites are fraudulent and we cannot refund them. A licence obtained anywhere other than qsmart-player.net is not valid, will not be honoured, and may not activate on your device. If you have paid such a site, contact your bank or card issuer — not us — as we never received the money.
Before paying, check the address bar reads exactly qsmart-player.net. If you find a site impersonating us, please report it to legal@qsmart-player.net with the URL, and we will pursue it.
3. Purpose
These terms set out the rights and obligations of the user and of QSMART LLC regarding the purchase and use of our software and related services. By purchasing a licence, installing STB+, or using qsmart-player.net, you accept these terms in full.
If you do not accept them, do not purchase a licence and do not use the application.
4. What you are buying
You are purchasing a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the STB+ application on one device. You are not purchasing content, a subscription, or access to any streaming service.
- One licence covers one device, identified by its MAC address.
- The licence does not expire and includes future updates to the application.
- The licence may not be resold, sublicensed or shared.
- A 14-day free trial runs before any purchase is required, and a 14-day money-back guarantee runs after it.
No payment made to QSMART LLC buys access to any channel, stream, portal or media service. All payments processed via Stripe or PayPal are for software licensing only.
5. Devices and activation
Licences are tied to the device on which the application is activated, identified by its MAC address and app key as displayed on the STB+ home screen.
If you replace your television or device, contact support@qsmart-player.net and we will transfer the licence where the original device is no longer in use. We may decline transfer requests that appear intended to circumvent the one-device rule.
6. Payment methods
We use secure third-party payment providers, currently Stripe and PayPal, and accept cryptocurrency payments via BTCPay. QSMART LLC never receives or stores your card details. Currency conversion and local taxes may apply depending on your region.
Prices shown on the website are in euros. Any sales tax, VAT or import charge applicable in your country is your responsibility unless stated at checkout.
7. Proof of purchase
Your email receipt from Stripe, PayPal or BTCPay serves as proof of purchase. Activation is applied automatically to the registered device, and a confirmation is sent to the email address supplied at checkout.
If activation has not appeared on your device within one hour of payment, contact support with your device MAC address and payment reference.
8. Activation, refunds and what to check first
What "activated" means
Your licence is activated automatically the moment your payment is confirmed. There is no separate activation step, no code to enter, and nothing you can choose to delay. When Stripe, PayPal or BTCPay reports the payment as successful, the licence is written to the device record identified by the MAC address you supplied at checkout, and that device stops being a trial device immediately.
In practice this means:
- Activation usually completes within seconds of payment, and always within one hour.
- It is bound to one device MAC address — the one shown on the STB+ home screen when you started checkout.
- Once activated, the licence does not expire and includes all future updates.
- You cannot hold a paid but unactivated licence. Paying is activating.
Check the MAC address before you pay. The licence attaches to whichever device MAC is entered at checkout. If you enter the wrong one, the licence activates on the wrong device. We can move it, but tell us before you buy a second licence.
Check these during your free trial
You get 14 days of full functionality before you are asked for anything. That trial exists so you never have to buy on trust. Before paying, confirm on the actual device you intend to license:
- Your portal or playlist loads — Stalker portal, Xtream credentials or M3U link, added and connecting.
- Streams actually play — open several channels, not just the first one, including any HD or 4K channels that matter to you.
- The programme guide appears — EPG data comes from your provider, not from us, so confirm it populates.
- Catch-up works if you rely on it — availability depends entirely on your provider's archive.
- Audio and subtitle tracks behave — correct languages present and selectable.
- Playback is stable across a longer session, not just the first minute.
- You are on the right device — the MAC shown in the app matches the one you will enter at checkout.
If any of these do not work during the trial, contact support@qsmart-player.net before you pay. We would far rather help you get it working than take money for something that does not suit your setup.
Refunds
14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full — whether or not the licence has activated. You do not need to give a reason.
To request a refund, email support@qsmart-player.net with the device MAC address and your payment reference. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank or card issuer. The licence is deactivated when the refund is issued.
Some limits apply:
- One refunded licence per customer. The guarantee is there so you can try without risk, not as a way to use the software in 14-day cycles.
- We do not refund because your provider failed. If a portal, playlist or streaming service you supplied stops working, changes credentials or shuts down, that is outside our control and outside what the licence covers. STB+ is the player; the content and the service behind it are yours.
- We may decline refunds obtained through fraud — for example a chargeback opened while a refund is already being processed, or repeated purchases and refunds on the same device.
If something is broken in the application itself, tell us. Where we cannot resolve a genuine fault we will refund you regardless of how long ago you purchased.
Your statutory rights
Consumers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. Because your licence activates the moment payment is confirmed, you are requesting immediate performance of the contract at that point.
This does not reduce what we offer you. Our 14-day money-back guarantee applies whether or not the licence activated, so in practice you keep a full 14 days to change your mind either way. Nothing in these terms limits any right you hold under the consumer law of your country of residence.
9. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not use STB+ to access, store or distribute content you do not have the legal right to access. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to defeat the licensing mechanism of the application.
We reserve the right to deactivate any licence used in breach of these terms, without refund.
10. Third-party content and responsibility
We have no relationship with any content provider, portal operator or streaming service. We cannot recommend one, we cannot help you find one, and we cannot assist with a provider's credentials, outages or billing.
All content played through STB+ originates from sources you configure. You are solely responsible for the legality of that content in your jurisdiction. QSMART LLC accepts no liability arising from content accessed through the application.
If you believe content is being made available through a third-party service in breach of your rights, please note that we neither host nor transmit that content. Rights-holder notices may nonetheless be sent to legal@qsmart-player.net, or by post to QSMART LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
11. Warranty and liability
STB+ is provided on an "as is" basis. We warrant that the application will perform substantially as described, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor compatibility with every device, portal or playlist format.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the software licence is limited to the amount you paid for that licence. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
12. Business and bulk licensing
For bulk licensing or institutional deployment — hotels, care homes, businesses — email sales@qsmart-player.net to discuss volume terms.
13. Changes, law and disputes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your purchase, and the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and the state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EEA, you retain the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
